The Plans

It all started few years back, when my big bro showed me YouTube videos for custom PCs (more to HTPC's), Which then triggered my thoughts to create one of these.

 

10+ years passed, life's getting better, financial a little bit stable, earth getting warmer (Global Warming)...PCs (temperature) getting hot.
And so I thought of making my PC cooler by using Liquid Cooling Setup. 

But found out another best not so new way for doing it which is rare among PC user locally. And since i don't have tools to easily create those custom case for the project. I've decided to use The Submerging method. Here's 1 of the video which motivated me to proceed with the projects...hehe...

  
Due to the activeness of my brain which made me Insomnia + my landlord has given me permissions to do anything to his old not functioning hifi / stereo system?

Rather than throwing it away, why not combine this two projects become 1 

= HTPC + Submerged system


So, instead of just wandering around, thinking, planning, calculating, daydreaming. I went to the store room (Actually my second room) and started to imagining while having a close look on it.

I am so into it until this happens,

At this point, i started measuring the sizes

Oh, did you noticed my hamster red running wheel + the blue hamster tube? (above picture)
It's there because i plan to add it into my projects as well. Hahaha...Not only that, but some of these

 

By connecting the inner left and right of the old hifi just like this

Blue markings (left and right) = custom acrylic hamster cage

Red marking = custom acrylic aquarium to submerge the PC system

Blue marking (inside the red marking) = Hamster tube to connect each custom acrylic cage

Imagine that, a couple of hamster going thru your submerged PC system by using the underwater tunnel. Hahaha...Damn Awesome!!!

Don't get too excited !!! 

Next is, concentrating on the Custom Acrylic aquarium for the PC system

After confirming all required details, now is the time for the Budget !!!
Called up few friends who knows some friends doing some acrylic works. Sending them some designs + all required holes. Budget for acrylic works only would cost me more than MYR1500. 
And that's all the cost of cutting + attaching + holes making of the Acrylic Works. That itself enough to make me frustrated as i spend the next day playing games on my PC, watching movies, put my lazy ass on the couch the whole day.

 

New day has started, waking up in the afternoon, go to work, back home almost midnight, and the brain started to wandering again. 

Re-plan has to be done.

It's decided, i should try the submerging method for the early stage, just in case what we seen on YouTube is all fake. Who knows if the method would blow the whole system. They might hide something in their sleeves or pants or wherever they wanted to hide.
